Through Purple Spark, Dave also leads an innovation lab exploring Decision Intelligence for human-led AI, building experiential systems and leadership tools that help organizations practice complex decision-making, strengthen human-centered leadership, and navigate uncertainty before real-world consequences occur.

Dave’s philosophy wasn’t built in theory alone. It was shaped through years of experience leading inside construction, manufacturing, infrastructure, operations, and business transformation environments where uncertainty, pressure, and human complexity were unavoidable realities.
From factory floors and construction sites to executive leadership and strategic operations, he witnessed firsthand the limitations of command-and-control leadership models in rapidly changing environments. He saw talented people stretched beyond sustainable limits. Teams operating under constant pressure. Leaders carrying impossible expectations while trying to maintain performance at all costs. And he saw how often organizations measured success without fully understanding the hidden cost required to achieve it.
Those experiences became the foundation for Dave’s leadership perspective today: that strong performance and strong people cannot be treated as separate conversations.

Behind the frameworks and leadership conversations is a deep belief that the most meaningful leadership starts with how we show up for the people closest to us. Dave credits much of his perspective and grounding to his wife, Saari, whose partnership, honesty, and support continue to shape both his life and work. Alongside their dog Seve, they’ve built a life centered around curiosity, resilience, and staying connected to what matters most.
He also carries forward the resilience instilled in him by his family — especially his mother and grandmother — whose strength became the foundation for the way he approaches leadership, responsibility, and service today.

My wife, Saari, is the true North on my personal compass. She is my most trusted sounding board and my partner in every voyage. She challenges my thinking, expands my vision, and reminds me that the most important leadership we practice is in our own homes, with the people we love.
Our fur-baby, Seve, is a daily masterclass in what truly matters. He teaches me about patience, unconditional love, and the quiet strength of gentleness. He reminds me that the best leaders are present, loyal, and always happy to see their crew.
And to my family—especially my mother and grandmother 'biji', who raised me with a resilience that has become the bedrock of my own—thank you. Your strength is the original Beacon that lit my way.
